- Submit a claim to VAC: Please submit the authorization form duly completed by your prescriber along with your purchase receipts through My VAC Account online or by mail. Clinics can handle most of these administrative steps to free you from the paperwork. It is also possible to arrange direct billing for products once the prescription has been obtained.
- Track approval and coverage: VAC reviews the claim and determines the covered quantity based on the medical recommendations.

Amount covered: VAC reimburses up to three grams per day of dried cannabis or the equivalent in processed products (inhaled, ingested, and topical), based on your prescriber's recommendations.
